Antique Quilt Coat Handmade Vintage Patchwork Jacket One of a Kind “Harriet”
“Harriet” — Vintage Quilt Jacket
One of a kind. Truly.
Harriet started life as someone’s grandmother’s quilt — a classic pinwheel-and-star patchwork in periwinkle blue, warm cream, and a garden’s worth of vintage floral prints. Roses, daisies, paisleys, checks. Fabrics that tell stories. Wolfgang cut her apart and stitched her back together as something you can actually live in.
The silhouette is relaxed and roomy — an open-front coat with wide, voluminous sleeves that fall just right. The back panel is the showstopper: two full pinwheel blocks framed in blue, centered like a painting you wear. The cuffs are finished in a contrasting woven blue-and-white cotton, and the hem peeks out the same. Every seam follows the original quilting lines. Nothing was wasted.
She’s warm without being heavy. Structured without being stiff. The kind of jacket that makes strangers stop you.

Disclaimer:
Wolfgang coats are made from genuine antique and vintage quilts — pieces that have lived full lives before becoming something new. They carry the beautiful marks of that history: softness from years of washing, gentle fading, the occasional small repair or imperfection. This is not a flaw — it is the whole point. We give once loved and now unused quilts a new life, regardless of their flaws!
