Cut and reconstructed from a depression era feed sack quilt, this wearable piece of Americana carries the warmth of something made by hand, made with care, and made to last. The dramatic star medallion — pieced from a constellation of floral cotton scraps in rose, sage, dusty blue, and cream — sits centered on the back like a compass rose, framed by bold indigo diamond blocking. The quilting stitches run in quiet lines across the fabric, a map of someone else’s patience.

The open front drapes effortlessly. The sleeves are easy and relaxed. The silhouette is boxy in the best way — the kind of jacket you throw over everything and suddenly the whole outfit makes sense.
